Hotel Monaco Wedding Reception – Washington DC

Weddings at the Hotel Monaco take place in two rooms: The Paris Ballroom and the Athens Room. Anna and Bryce’s wedding was no different: their ceremony was in Paris, then the guests moved to Athens for a jazzy cocktail hour complete with a live band and a cigarette girl, while vendors flipped Paris for the reception. In just one hour, guests arrive back at Paris for dinner and dancing. Outside the ballroom, there is a table set with escort cards, designed by Digby and Rose, calligraphy by Meant To Be. We had a fun guestbook station set up with vintage postcards for the guests to send to Anna and Bryce after the wedding. Nature of Design had three amazing floral centerpieces featuring white callas, pink orchids and white orchids, surrounded by candlelight. All the great linens and the fun Lucite chairs came from DC Rental, and while you can’t see it, there was an incredible sequined linen on the cake table, topped by a beauty from Fluffy Thoughts. All that said, Anna and Bryce saved the best for last. At the end of the wedding, all guests went out to get lobster rolls from the Red Hook Lobster food truck!
