Couples really like to have outdoor ceremonies. And who can blame them when the photos turn out like this!
Kurstin Roe, Tred Avon Yacht Club – our first time working at this venue in Oxford on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We got to work with so many great new people on this one. And the family was a repeat from 13 years ago!
Lissa Ryan. MLK Library – our first time at this rooftop venue, and it was so fun! A smidge chilly in mid-November but totally bearable for 30 minutes.
Awesomesauce, Cedar Knoll Restaurant – the challenge with many restaurants is that they do not have space for a wedding ceremony. But Cedar Knoll in Alexandria sure does!!
Benjamin McLean, Alexandria City Court House – a true elopement with no guests and just a photographer! I can’t wait to show you more from this wedding!
Terri Baskin, Meridian House – a couple and a wedding that still leaves me speechless.
Coastal Roots, The Pavilion at Weatherly – another new venue to us this year. About an hour east of Fredericksburg, Virginia, this Maryland waterfront venue is a real hidden gem!

These wedding ceremonies were all planned to be inside. We did not have to enact any weather back-up plans in 2023 for wedding ceremonies! That might be a first for me!
Eli Turner, Long View Gallery – one of the best urban/raw space/industrial venues in DC for a wedding!
Kurstin Roe, Holy Rosary Catholic Church – a welcoming Catholic church in DC who loves to host non-members and their wedding ceremonies.
