Preppy Bridal Shower Inspiration
Here is another beautiful table in a local restaurant that would be perfect for a bridal shower at Kapnos Taverna in Arlington, Virginia. Kapnos Taverna offers Greek cuisine with a heavy dose of seafood on the menu. I decided to use a preppy and somewhat nautical color palette of pink, navy and white for this inspiration shoot. Endless thanks to Kustin Roe for the photos! And don’t miss the rehearsal dinner look I styled at Kapnos Taverna!
Once again, adding one rental piece, in this case the cut-glass goblets from DC Rental, add so much dimension to the tablescape for this bridal shower inspiration.
The Dandelion Patch created the ultimate invitation set for my pattern-obsessed self. Look at this – Greek key, stripes, polka dots and confetti all in one stationery suite – it is brilliant! You can never go wrong with backing your invitation and RSVP card or lining your envelopes, am I right? Meant To Be Calligraphy was in on this project too, providing customization instead of regular fonts on the shower invitation.
Even greater than my love for the bridal shower invitation, were these flowers designed by Sidra Forman. I asked for hot hot pink, and boy did she ever deliver. These small arrangements pack a big punch, especially on this bright white marble table.
To complete the tablescape, I returned to an old favorite – paper place mats. I took a rectangular place mat and cut it down to be square. Meant To Be Calligraphy added the guests’ names to the side in lieu of a place card at each setting. Two-for-one!
