Gifts for New Homeowners – Updated for 2021
Last year I did a traditional Home Gift Guide, but there are so many new homeowners this year (thanks to low interest rates, stability in white color jobs, and the need for a larger space due to WFH!) I thought I would break home gifts into two sections this year – gifts for new homeowners, which would essentially housewarming gifts. Check back later this week for larger gifts for the home that you will probably just buy for yourself.
A custom return address ink stamp. I’ve given this gift before and it was happily mentioned to me for years.
Gifts for New Homeowners: Textiles
A chunky knit throw blanket. Multiple colors and sizes.
If your friend is more boho, check out this striped Moroccan throw blanket.
Luxe waffle linen towels. Everyone can use new towels, all the time.
These colorful Sea Shell Pillows are a little on the whimsical side but they just look so inviting.
Gifts for New Homeowners: Decor
A round wall shelf with an industrial feel.
A folding glass and gold picture frame.
A beautifully designed vase of glass, cork and hardwood.
Ombre painted, color blocked wooden vases.
A trio of white, modern ceramic bud vases.
Gifts for New Homeowners: The Kitchen
Set of ten vintage French ice cream cups made of glass and gold. Want to go halvsies?
Sandstone cheese board. I just love the color of this. And it’s so different from a wooden board.
These ceramic and wooden plates are so gorgeous, I want a whole set to be my “fancy china.”
Vintage French lemon juicer. I’m buying a green one for myself.
Continuing on the vintage theme, how about these vintage carafes. Here is a very swanky vintage carafe, if budget allows.
If you’re still shopping, check out my other gift guides: Christmas and Hanukkah decor ideas, Work from Home Gifts, Gifts for Pets and Pet Lovers. And if you need to shop some more, I recommend the Etsy Christmas Shop.
