A Real Wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club
Isn’t Melissa just stunning and happy? I adore this photo beyond words. Thanks to Paired Images for their pictures, and Judy Rusk for her work on hair and make up. Melissa and Jeff had their first look and wedding party portraits in Annapolis before heading over the bridge to Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, where they got married and celebrated with their friends and family.
Katie Martin from Elegance & Simplicity knocked it out of the park with the gorgeous florals for the day. Melissa and Jeff also contributed some very creative items for their wedding, including an awesome ceremony booklet with their personal story and custom games.
Food and drink was very important to Melissa and Jeff, so starting with the pre-ceremony drinks, through cocktail hour complete with a beer tasting and pairing, a fantastic surf and turf dinner, followed up with some serious desserts and then late night soft pretzels, one could not make the case that Melissa and Jeff skimped on the meal!
Melissa and Jeff are seriously into their desserts. They had both a gorgeous hand painted wedding cake and a custom groom’s cake in the shape of their beagle, Link. Sugar Bakers created these works of art for us. And the Lego cake topper has to bring a smile to your face.
I told you that they were serious about dessert. This was by far the biggest candy bar I’ve ever done, in terms of pure volume. There was twice as much as in the photo under the table in bins for refills. I would estimate that Melissa and Jeff went home with about 30 pounds of left over candy, which they were really excited about.
