James and the Giant Peach: Bundt Cakes by Fancy Cakes by Leslie

When Cyn and I were planning the James photo shoot at Oatlands, later to be featured in Weddings Unveiled Magazine, I always knew who I was going to ask to partner with us for the dessert – Maryland’s own Fancy Cakes by Leslie. Leslie suggested that we do stacked and iced bundt cakes, and I immediately loved this fresh and innovative idea. Leslie put her signature and show stopping sugar peony on top and BAM – awesome wedding cakes. I borrowed a flower cart that I had been pining for from the Lucketts Store as the perfect setting for the cakes. Finally, I DIY’ed some yarn orbs and hung them from the large tree behind the flower cart. I can’t thank Rebecca from A Daily Something enough for leading the charge on styling this vignette for me.
