A Fusion Wedding at the Alexandrian Hotel in Virginia

Mukta and James had a wedding that truly represented both of them as individuals and a couple. They married at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Virginia and Amie Otto was on had to document the day! The lovely florals were provided by Growing Wild.

This beautiful Sunday in July had us preparing for a courtyard ceremony. But as you will see, a passing thunderstorm forced us to move quickly inside – the gold chairs had to be used for dinner, so we could not let them get wet! Luckily the hotel staff were incredible and we got it all done in time to start the ceremony almost on time! Thank goodness for back up plans!

Dinner started with plated Greek salad, and then guests enjoyed four exquisite dinner stations the represented Mukta and James’ favorite foods.

After dinner, we opened up a candy bar that feature the couple’s favorite sweets. And as guests departed, they were given a bag of popcorn as one final late night snack.
