Showroom DC Wedding Reception: Time-lapse Video
Yesterday I shared the wedding ceremony time-lapse video, and as promised, I am back today with the reception set up! This section of The Showroom in Washington DC went under less of a transformation. What we pre-set on Friday pretty much stayed the same on Saturday. We tweaked the setup tables, and then after the wedding ceremony, we moved the chairs to them and struck the pipe & drape that was dividing the space. In many spaces you have to work with just one set of chairs for both ceremony and dinner.
I think that timelapse videos are so useful because I think it can be hard for people not in the events industry to grasp how many labor hours go into setting up these beautiful celebrations. If we have 20 people there for a four-hour pre-set, that is 80 labor hours! Imagine if we had either fewer staff or fewer hours available to us to set up. We wouldn’t be able to get everything done!
But don’t miss the custom art installation happening on the far right of the screen – designed by the bride, and executed by Revolution Events. And you can check out the gallery if you want to see more from this Showroom wedding in DC. This is the best urban, loft-style event venue in all of DC.
