The Line DC Hotel Wedding: Amalfi Inspired
We have worked at the Line Hotel for four weddings now, and we love it. It is a fantastic home away from home. I get so many inquiries and questions about weddings at the Line, I also wrote about Line Hotel DC Wedding costs, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Getting ready for your wedding at the Line Hotel is so wonderful. The hotel rooms are so well-appointed, and there are countless spots in and around the hotel where you can take great photos.
Jewish Wedding Ceremony at the Line Hotel DC
Before the ceremony, we used the small room adjacent to the Carina Ballroom for the Ketubah signing. I always advise my clients to ensure that they have flattened their Ketubah prior to the wedding day, so that signing it is easy and the photos look great. If you can have it framed without the front glass, even better.
Often with Jewish wedding ceremonies, we also have a breaking glass and kiddush cup needed for the wedding traditions. Over the years, I found that the table a venue or caterer can provide is much too large, so I went to Home Goods and bought a small side table, and that is what I bring to weddings when we need to have a place to set up ceremonial items such as these!
Blue and Yellow Amalfi-inspired Wedding Reception at The Line
The Banneker Ballroom at the Line Hotel DC is a blank canvas and it was so fun to bring in these blue and green linens and these cheerful and colorful flowers. Be sure to scroll to the bottom to see this bride’s adorable sequined party dress!
