Strathmore Mansion Spring Wedding
It was a tale as old as time. This couple, both doctors, had to postpone their Spring Strathmore Mansion wedding for a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. But they put smiles on their faces, had seemingly infinite patience, and after the extra 365 days, we had the most lovely day at Strathmore Mansion for their wedding ceremony and reception.
Strathmore Mansion Jewish Wedding Ceremony
Strathmore Mansion has two great options for hosting a ketubah signing. And there are two great locations for your wedding ceremony: either the rear lawn or in the Music Room. For this Spring wedding day, the weather wasn’t totally cooperative, so we opted to host the wedding ceremony in the Music Room. This allowed the guests to be completely comfortable during the Jewish wedding ceremony.
Strathmore Mansion Wedding Reception
After the ceremony, guests mingled in the Sun Room as well as on the covered outdoor Terrace while drinks and hors d’oeuvres were served. This time allows for any larger group photos, but also during this time we are moving the ceremony chairs to all the dinner tables. And we are flipping the Music Room to be ready for dancing once dinner wraps up!
Strathmore Mansion weddings require that guests (unless your guest list is 40 or less!) be seated in different rooms in the mansion for dinner. This can feel like a challenge to pick a tablescape design. But in reality, you don’t need to overthink it. Each room is an excellent canvas for a wedding reception!
