Riverside on the Potomac Wedding | Happy Anniversary!

S & C were one of the first couples to have a Riverside on the Potomac wedding. When we toured the property the winter before their summer wedding, the floor in the big barn was full of holes and there was stuff piled to the ceiling. But we could see the vision, we could see the future, and it was perfect.

Suzi and her team have done an absolutely incredible job of transforming that farm into one of the best wedding venues in Virginia. Every year there is some improvement to be had. Although I have to say, I miss the horses being in the barn. Check out every floor plan at ROTP.

Many thanks to Kristi Odom for all these great photos. When I first met S&C, C told me that he “had a friend who was a wedding photographer.” This is typically something no planner wants to hear. Friendtographers are usually not the best to work with. But I was delighted when I learned that C’s friend was internationally renowned photographer.
