Alexandrian Hotel Wedding | Colorful, Tented Summer Soiree
This colorful Alexandrian Hotel wedding tent is sure to put a smile on your face. All the pastel colors. The clear top with paper lanterns and twinkle lights. I really enjoyed working with Nora and Sean, they have a beautiful relationship that was so evident on their wedding day. I’m also thankful to Jennifer Gulley for all these great wedding photos.

FIRST LOOK AND PORTRAITS
Its an embarrassment of riches, that Old Town Alexandria. So many gorgeous nooks and crannies for a couple to take wedding day photos. Most within walking distance from The Alexandrian hotel, and many not in direct sun. I always plan for the couple to have an hour for these photos, so that no opportunity is missed!
In a continuing and growing trend, Sean opted to have a “grooms lady” on his side of the wedding party.

After the wedding ceremony, guests went into the Paris Ballroom for the cocktail reception, and the hotel staff flipped the courtyard for the outdoor dinner reception to follow. The Alexandria Hotel wedding tent was perfect for a summer day. Crisp white table linens and chairs allow guests to enjoy the paper lanterns and twinkle lights above them.
The Alexandrian Hotel courtyard events must end by 9 pm, so after the wedding tent dinner, these guests went back into the Paris Ballroom for dancing and dessert. We changed up the lighting and other decor items after the cocktail reception, so that the space felt fresh when guests returned.
