Lessons Learned: Generator fuel
Today I am sharing some wedding planning advice about generator fuel.
When you are running a smaller generator to power your DJ and the lighting in your wedding tent, you may need to refill the generator fuel at some point. Your generator won’t be turned on just for the 5 hours of your party. It will also be turned on during installation and set up to test lighting and do sound checks. If the generator company asks you how many hours you plan to run your generator, I would say at least ten to twelve.
If you think you will need to refill the generator fuel, add this take as a line item in the wedding day timeline so that it is not forgotten. Secondary lesson: have the extra gas ready!
