Lessons Learned: Leesburg Hotels
I wrote an update to this post in 2020, with all the Leesburg hotels for weddings.
Leesburg, Virginia offers countless great wedding venues. From barns to vineyards to historic gardens, there is a lot to love in Loudoun county in terms of places to get married. But there is a serious lack of hotel rooms. As soon as you book a wedding venue in Leesburg, Virginia, you must secure your room blocks. In fact, you might want to check on the availability of room blocks before booking a Leesburg venue. There are very few hotels in the area – there are far more wedding venues than there are hotels. The hotels that are there are not large properties and they do limit how many blocks they will take per weekend. And with our seasonal climate, there are certain months of the year (May, June, September, October) where every wedding venue will be booked every weekend, flooding Loudoun County with visitors.

If you are unable to secure a room block in Leesburg, there are some options in Ashburn that might work for you. Worst case you will likely have to secure a wedding room block in the Dulles area, and provide transportation for your guests to get to your wedding and back to the hotel.
