Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Wedding: Happy FIRST Anniversary S & J!

One year ago I was lucky enough to work on a wedding at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral for the first time, with S & J. Happy anniversary,  you crazy kids! I had a great time with this couple – they were so organized, so courteous and so very much in love with each other. J would routinely call S “my love” and it warmed my heart each and every time!

The best part about having kids in your wedding ceremony is that you never know what they will do. This often results in awesome candid photos, which I can never not share.

S & J did not see each other before the wedding, so it was an emotional processional for all involved!

We had a pretty decent break between the wedding ceremony and the wedding reception, so we had a grand exit from the church with bubbles, and then tS & J plus their wedding party went across the street to the National Cathedral and took some gorgeous photos in the Bishop’s Garden. B Floral Design really killed it with these bride and bridesmaid bouquets. I  love these bright colors for a late May wedding!
