Pokemon Game Birthday Party: The Basement
Here it is, my final video game birthday party post! Please check out my earlier posts about the welcome decor, the video game truck, the tablescape, the lunch buffet, the cake and the candy buffet!
After lunch and cake, the birthday party guests went down to the basement for some new activities! We had a photo booth set up with a custom banners (thanks, Fig. 2 Design!) and Pokemon masks. After all the kids made all the photostrips they wanted, an impromptu dance party broke out. After the dancing, the kids settled into a viewing of the movie Middle School, as parents trickled in to pick up the party-goers.
The basement renovation had just been finished before the birthday party, so there was little decor on the walls. I brought in vinyl wall decals to dress up the path to the basement, as well as hung a banner over the doorway to the basement. The rainbow Tetris wall decals are my absolute favorite things. I found all the decals on Etsy and they were super easy to install. And they are temporary!
I hope you enjoyed all my posts about this “Game On” video game-themed birthday party. What would be your ideal theme party? What was the best theme party you ever attended?
Thanks to Deb Lindsey for the sweet photos. Photobooth by The Prop Stop.
