2023 Wedding Head Tables
Thanks for stopping by today to check out our 2023 wedding head tables and wedding sweetheart tables. At our 2023 wedding receptions, two couples sat at a round guest table, six couples had head tables, and seven couples sat at a sweetheart table.
Coastal Roots, Pavilion at Weatherly
We repurposed the broken arch from the wedding ceremony above and below! Never let big ceremony decor pieces be left behind – they should always have a second life.
Eli Turner, Long View Gallery. You want to make sure your sweetheart table has decor and doesn’t look forgotten. But you also don’t want it to be too tall because there will be a lot of photos of you while you are sitting there.
Brittany Dunbar, Riggs Hotel – Placing a bride’s bouquet on the sweetheart table works best if you have an appropriate vase and can trim down the stems a little bit so that it is not too tall. And it needs to be part of a vignette – it doesn’t want to stand alone!
Awesomesauce, Cedar Knoll Restaurant – we worked hard to fit the entire wedding party together at this table in this room!
Terri Baskin, Meridian House – did you know that you can use the large in-house oval dining table? When I discovered this, I immediately inserted it into every floor plan that I could!
Astrid Photography, DAR (top), The Line (bottom)
Procopio Photography, Bethesda Marriott – I’ll never get over these pink neon flamingos!
Kurstin Roe, Hotel Monaco (top), Tred Avon Yacht Club (bottom)
Lissa Ryan, MLK DC Public Library – there were 2 extra seats set at this sweetheart table so guests could sit and visit with the couple during the wedding reception.
Do you have lingering questions about how many people fit at a wedding reception dinner table? I have a PDF for that: <want more info? buy here!>
