Meridian House Wedding: Spring Chic
S and A had the most delightful spring wedding at Meridian House in Washington DC. The color palette was full of pretty pastels, and the couple’s chosen wedding decor embraced the Beaux Arts design of Meridian House. The florals were ten steps beyond lush. It was all picture-perfect.
S and A got ready at the Riggs hotel, which has the most beautiful suite for beauty services as well as first-look photos and portraits. Both S and A had mixed-gender wedding attendants, and I think their attire was really spot on.
This Meridian House wedding ceremony was held in the Linden Grove. Asymmetrical floral pillars flanked the couple as they got married, while lanterns marked the other end of the aisle.
After the wedding ceremony, the cocktail hour was in the garden. Before the wedding guests sat down for dinner inside Meridian House, we invited them into the Ballroom for speeches and a performance of a song that A wrote and sang for S.
The wedding reception ended with a sparkler grand exit and a classic car getaway. As you can see, it was smiles all around. Meridian House weddings are ideal for a sparkler send-off, with the great driveway out front.
