Wedding Cakes: 2018 Real Weddings

Most of my 2018 wedding clients had a wedding cake – nine out of twelve did so. And six of these nine weddings also served an additional dessert – everything from pies to ice cream cookie sandwiches to a huge Pittsburgh Cookie Table. I am so here for all the desserts.

Pink Ombre Wedding Cakes

Shades of pink are popular for wedding colors, since there are so many pink flowers. So it isn’t a surprise to me to see wedding cakes with pink incorporated in the icing.

Classic White Wedding Cakes

White buttercream is a classic for a reason. It can look many different ways, as shown below, but it is a timeless option for your wedding cake! Fresh flowers and cake toppers are also always in style.
