Washington DC Wedding | Happy Seventh Anniversary!

This is my 7th time wishing Jessica and Jim a happy happy wedding anniversary! Their summer Washington DC wedding ceremony was at Holy Rosary Church, to which I’m finally getting to work at again after all these years next month with a new couple! Holy Rosary is a great church to work with, if you are looking for Catholic nuptials but are not a member at a local church. They are not stingy with nonmembers – they consider it their mission to marry couples in the Catholic tradition and faith. I really appreciate this.

Working with Jessica and her mom led me to working with 3 more brides with military dads (and a couple of military grooms) – it was a fun time to work with all those great families at some fun officers clubs in the DC area. I have a core memory from Jessica and Jim’s wedding: it was the first time I’d heard Chicken Fried by Zak Brown Band. I really really love that song.

What I love about Jim is that he was never afraid to show his passion for Jessica. Demure is not in his vocab when it comes to his gorgeous wife, and I am here for it.

If you’ve been here a minute, you know that the grooms have a rule: no empty hands.
