Showroom DC Wedding Sneak Peak

Today my real wedding post is totally breaking all the rules. This wedding will be seen in Washingtonian Weddings this December. But, since Megan & Long are celebrating their first anniversary today, I just had to share a few pics of this fab new wedding venue, the Showroom in DC. Enjoy!

Showroom Wedding Ceremony

Since Vicki Grafton was shooting film, we wanted as much natural light as possible for the wedding ceremony. We also wanted to allow for guest logistics that made sense, so we oriented the wedding ceremony facing 14th Street. Hoe about those stunning florals by Holly Chapple?

Showroom Wedding Cocktail Hour

Cocktail hour was on the “inside” side of the Showroom, where there are no windows, and we stocked it with furniture from Paisley & Jade.

Showroom DC Wedding Reception

With the help of pipe and drape from Revolution Events, we flipped the entire L Street side of the Showroom for the dinner and dancing portion of the wedding. The ceremony area became the dance floor. How about that fabric installation at the end of the room? Megan designed that herself, and Revolution brought it to life.
