Riverside on the Potomac Wedding | Barn Wedding Reception
Today is all about K & W’s Riverside on the Potomac wedding reception celebration! Please don’t miss their outdoor wedding ceremony post. While guests partied to Whiskey Rebellion in the lower barn during cocktail hour, K & W took these stunning portraits with Carly Romeo & Co.
We rented wine barrels in lieu of standard cocktail tables. It is about the same price, and it fits in so well at this Riverside on the Potomac wedding reception. I always place Hashtag Signs on the bars because all of your guests will go to the bar so they have high visibility there.
Riverside on the Potomac has a great lounge area in the big barn, with these book cases that are perfect for displaying family photos and mementos. I always recommend that you provide name tags with them, so that your guests can better identify with what is in the photos. Especially if you are showing off photos of your parents or grandparents.
LynnVale Studios made these composite centerpieces for each round dinner table as well as the farm table head table. To be honest, at first I wasn’t sure about the collection of clear glass vases with 1-2 stems in each. I’ve seen this look not so great when there are just a handful of vases used. But LynnVale used a dozen or so vases on each table and it looked awesome!
K & W had a diverse group of wedding guests and Van Petty from My DeeJay did an awesome job keeping the dance floor absolutely packed with a very eclectic playlist.
I love these marquee letters behind the bar. This is the perfect kind of DIY wedding decor – easy to transport, easy to set up, and most importantly, easy to reuse at home after the wedding!
Thanks again to Carly Romeo & Co for sharing these photos!
