Mormon Temple and Newseum Wedding

This Virginia couple had a Washington DC wedding full of class and glamour. The morning of their celebration, they sealed their union at the Mormon Temple in Kensington, Maryland. Afterwards, they took photos on the beautiful grounds with their family and wedding party. After a lunch break, everyone went to the Newseum in Washington DC for the larger celebration.

Holly Chapple created these amazing bouquets in shades of purple with loose, flowing greens. Purple is a great color for a fall wedding, because it is so unexpected!

Before the wedding reception was set to begin, Mackenzie and Mike had a less-formal ring ceremony, for their closest non-Mormon family and friends to attend. Revolution Events created this gorgeous paper flower wall as the backdrop, as well as installed all the pipe & drape. And I’m so grateful to Michelle Lindsay for all these gorgeous wedding photos!

Make sure you come back in two days to see the second part of this DC wedding!
