2025 Update: years later I had the privilege of returning to this home for another family member’s home wedding. It was quite different because the homeowners added a detached garage to the property and we were able to install the tent adjacent to it on top of the paved driveway. I am a home wedding expert, and I always recommend that you use any flat, paved surfaces when possible. Not all home weddings require a tent. Sometimes we can use existing structures such as barns or garages as at least part of the wedding day infrastructure.
