Holy Trinity Georgetown Wedding | Happy 5th Anniversary!

While I was across town at the Ronald Reagan Building, my associate, Rebecca, was working with A & H on their wedding ceremony at Holy Trinity in Georgetown! Not only is this church gorgeous, but it has been the spot for many famous politicians to worship at, such as John F. Kennedy. This church is in high demand for Washington DC wedding ceremonies, so typically they defer to members first and foremost. 

Their reception was at The Le Meridien Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. The Le Meridien Hotel was selected for their wedding reception for two reasons. First, it was a hop, skip and a jump across the Key Bridge to get to it. And second. they had a great rooftop restaurant with views of DC and firepits. My favorite part of the reception was how excited the bride was to eat her cake. I love enthusiastic cake cutting photos. 

Restaurants can be tricky to book for weddings. They work best when your ceremony is somewhere else, because they usually do not have the space for a traditional theatre style ceremony set up.
