Decatur House Real Wedding: Ron and Jon
This Decatur House real wedding in Washington DC was inspired by a rustic French garden, but has all the elements of a quintessential DC soiree! Since neither of these two dapper gents needed to spend hours in hair & make up, they got to take photos all over the city with Michael Connor, getting all the best historic sites! After the photo session, Ron and Jon greeted their guests as they entered the Decatur House (where they also picked up a specialty cocktail or two – we nearly ran out of bourbon before the party even started!) We had the ceremony in the courtyard where their family friend and local pastor gave one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve ever heard – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were offered in the historic house, and then guests returned to the courtyard for dinner.
