American Visionary Arts Museum | Happy 6th Wedding Anniversary!

Happy happy sixth wedding anniversary to N & A! I absolutely loved planning this Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-inspired wedding (the original movie, thank you very much.) I confess that I often lazily refer to it as my Willy Wonka wedding.  This wedding was at the American Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore. You will see below the word bubbles I made by hand for this wedding. I enjoyed the project so much, but would approach it differently today! 

Many thanks to A Britton Photography for these whimsical photos! I love working with partners who are willing to take risks, and try out my goofy ideas. Sometimes goofy ideas flop, but really it’s no harm no foul. But other times, you end up with some brilliance. 

I love a fun prop for your couple portraits. Think about what makes sense to you as a couple, what is available at your venues, and pitch some ideas to your photographer. 

The American Visionary Arts Museum is a fantastic wedding venue in Baltimore, Maryland. It has so many quirky, whimsical, and interesting spots, and the large room can accommodate 200 guests.
