The Perry Belmont House was a great wedding venue to emote the Italian villa vibes that the couple was looking to create with their wedding aesthetic. We had the ceremony in the Grand Salon, the cocktail reception in the Petite Salon, the dinner in the Ballroom, and then we went back to the Grand Salon for dancing. We developed a color story for the wedding day sections. The ceremony was all pastels. The cocktail hour was turned up with some brighter blues and yellows (think Amalfi coast.) The dinner in the Perry Belmont Ballroom (with deep red walls) featured a “sunset” color palette with florals. And when guests went back to the Grand Salon for dancing, we transformed the ceremony decor into something more along a “twilight” palette with the florals, lighting and linens. I loved that the color story kept evolving, as did the bride kept changing her attire.
