When Eco-Beautiful Weddings magazine approached me about doing a photo shoot to be featured in the Summer 2011 issue featuring a particular Etsy product , I jumped at the chance. And when I saw that the product I had to base the shoot around was a beautiful red and white cake stand, I knew it had to be a brunch-inspired photo shoot. Kelly and I came up with the following hypothetical story for our inspiration: a groom-to-be pops the question to his beloved early one morning, and the couple dashes right down to the court house to elope. They celebrate at an outdoor cafe, nibbling on scones and cake. The bride’s bright red lips, BHLDN shift dress and lavender bouquet are simply perfect. Kelly DIY’ed the chair pillows, tablecloth and the boutonniere for the groom.
