Courtney and Cameron had one of the most memorable weddings of my career. First, we planned it all in three months. Second, it was going to be a fabulous backyard wedding in Virginia, with stunning tents from Skyline and great decor from DC Rental and Holly Chapple Flowers. Then came the storm. We had about 4 hours notice before a terrible thunderstorm ripped through the DC area the night before their wedding. This incredible team of wedding pros rallied together and still pulled off an impeccable event where you could not tell that severe weather had caused any damage just a few hours earlier. Courtney and Cameron had a traditional LDS wedding ceremony early Saturday morning at the DC temple, and then guests were welcomed to Courtney’s parents’ home in Fairfax for a dinner reception. After a receiving line by the pool, the dinner buffet featured seasonal summer offerings. Cameron’s brother DJ-ed as the guests danced the night away. After Courtney and Cameron changed into their getaway attire, they had a festive sparkler send-off.
