Caroline & Darren

Caroline and Darren had a delightfully modern and graphic wedding at the Hotel Monaco in Alexandria, Virginia. The day started with their wedding ceremony framed by a striped canopy in the hotel courtyard. For the cocktail hour guests moved inside to the Paris Ballroom where the couple’s favorite craft beers were highlighted at the full bar. A color blocked seating chart directed guests to their dinner tables. Dinner was back outside in the courtyard where guests were seated at three seemingly endless banquet tables. Consistent with the couple’s love of beer, the guests’ place cards were custom drink coasters. The cheery yellow and white color scheme was perfect for this summer soiree. Caroline is a graphic designer, and the typographical stationery elements she created for the wedding were one of a kind. After dinner, guests moved back into the Paris Ballroom for dancing and dessert, complete with cupcakes and a gelato bar.
