Lessons Learned: Lounges

I recently planned an exquisite wedding at DAR in Washington DC. We had amazing flowers, really cool custom rentals and a soft seating area on the terrace. Somehow I forgot flowers for the coffee tables that went with the soft seating. I was so pissed when I realized my mistake – on the wedding day, of course. Luckily we still had vases for the bridesmaids bouquets and we put them on the coffee tables after the ceremony photos were over. It wasn’t the best looking, but it worked. I would have preferred to have the bouquets on the mantle but that’s life. I’m sure the guests never noticed, but its one of those things I can’t let go of!
