Favorite Candid Wedding Photos | 2015
Inevitably, there are one or two very memorable photos from each wedding that I simply fall in love with. It could be of a design detail that we planned out in advance, or a candid moment that was unexpected yet becomes ingrained in my mind and memory from that wedding. In 2015, it was almost all candid wedding photos expertly captured by our professional wedding photographers. Below I’ve laid them out in the chronology of a typical wedding day. I invite you to check out some of my favorite wedding details and even more favorite wedding details from 2016.
This junior bridesmaid. I can’t even. Just stop it. Photo by Deb Lindsey.
Amanda and DJ decided to enter their Josephine Butler Parks Center wedding ceremony together. I love this moment just before the ceremony began – captured by Douglas Pettway. Can you feel the excitement and nerves?!
Wedding ceremony recessionals often feature a great candid moment! And my little cameo here makes me love this photo by MK McKenna even more!
I love a super fun wedding party introduction grouping! Photo by Deb Lindsey.
From the same wedding documented by Deb Lindsey, a funny (and love-filled) start to the parents’ dance is unforgettable.
Year after year, I love the “wedding toast reaction” photos – be they laughing, crying, or any other raw emotion. Photo by Orange Lemur.
The last dance at a wedding is often quite the sing and dance along. This overhead photo by Deb Lindsey is a great moment from this wedding at the Carnegie Institution for Science.
A grand exit without sparklers is my favorite! I love this Newseum wedding photo by Michelle Lindsay.
