Saint Joseph’s Church and Saint Francis Hall

Monica and Dave had a classic Spring wedding in Washington DC with numerous nods to her Portuguese heritage. The photos from Kurstin Roe truly make me swoon. Not only because they are gorgeous, but because I love remembering this couple and this wedding. Dave and Monica had a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Joseph’s and then a rocking reception at St. Francis Hall. The beautiful white and green flowers were by Petal’s Edge.

The Written Word in Washington DC designed and printed all of the stationery. Monica and Dave picked up this vintage port box from their local liquor shop, it was the perfect vessel for this arrangement on their escort card table. The escort cards and the table number cards had a port barrel motif.   Sound Nation kept the dance floor packed all night long.
