Born and raised in Northern Virginia Janice Carnevale discovered her passion for wedding planning in 2002 while working in group sales on a dinner cruise line. Eager to learn more and showcase her creativity, Janice transitioned to off-premise catering. This opportunity provided Janice a chance to hone her logistical and organization skills and learn a lot about food!

Striking out on her own in 2006, Janice merged her knowledge of event planning and the Washington, D.C. area to form Bellwether Events. Today, Bellwether Events specializes in wedding planning and coordination for the Washington, D.C. metro area. Janice considers it a true honor to be a part of your special day, and she loves getting to know you and your family to help create the best possible wedding for you.

Janice's second passion is dog rescue. She is a volunteer with Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, and is currently serving as the Regional Coordinator for DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and West Virginia. A breed specific rescue, IMPS is dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned min pins. Janice has also volunteered with Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.

Janice received her Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002. When she isn't planning weddings or rescuing dogs, Janice can be found watching college and pro football, obsessing over her Twitter feed, reading nonfiction, and not completing crossword puzzles. She lives in Falls Church with her husband Larry, and her two rescue dogs, Nikki and Tammy.
